Alumni are invited back to campus to give a lecture sharing their journeys in the in-service master’s program

On April 8, 2025, at 18:30, the University is honored to invite three outstanding alumni—Wang Hsiu-Yun, Sung Ching-Yun, and Chao Su-Hui—to return to campus to deliver a unique lecture for current students. They will share their personal journeys in the in-service master’s program and offer valuable insights on how to balance work and academic studies.

Wang Hsiu-Yun, Sung Ching-Yun, and Chao Su-Hui are all distinguished graduates of the University’s in-service master’s program. They have each achieved success in their professional careers and have also attained remarkable academic accomplishments. In this lecture, they will share their experiences and insights with students from the following aspects:

  1. Time Management: How to effectively allocate time between demanding work and academic studies to ensure both can be managed successfully. They will share practical time management techniques to help students improve efficiency and reduce stress.
  2. Mental Adjustment: How to maintain a positive mindset when facing the dual pressures of work and study, and how to cope with various challenges. They will share methods for adjusting one’s mindset to help students remain calm and confident under pressure.
  3. Challenges and Adaptation: Various difficulties and challenges are inevitable during the learning process. They will share the obstacles they encountered during their studies and how they overcame them, providing practical advice to students.
  4. Communication with Advisors: How to effectively communicate with academic advisors to gain their support and guidance. They will share communication strategies to help students build strong and positive relationships with their professors.
  5. Overcoming Difficulties in Thesis Writing: Writing a thesis is a crucial component of a master’s degree, and many students encounter challenges in this area. They will share tips and experiences in thesis writing to help students successfully complete their dissertations.
